Andrew Livingston visits DQ at FCT NOVA

Andrew Livingston, Professor of Chemical Engineering at Imperial College London, will give a lecture at NOVA School of Science and Technology, next 22nd October at 12:00 in the Library Auditorium:  “Molecular Separations in Organic Solvents, and the Quest for Perfect Polymers”.

Andrew Livingston will receive the title of Doctor Honoris Causa by NOVA University of Lisbon. Professor João Paulo Crespo will give the laudation to the awardee, and Professor Manuel Nunes da Ponte will be his as Patron. The ceremony will take place on October 21, at 5 pm, at the Rectorate of NOVA, Campolide Campus.

Andrew Livingston is a Chemical Engineering Professor at the Imperial College London. World-renowned for creating new technology platforms for manufacturing chemicals and (bio)pharmaceuticals, Andrew Livingston has filed 35 patent applications. Pioneer in membrane separation technologies, he was awarded with Underwood Medal (2016) by the Institute of Chemical Engineers.
