Susana Sá 
What does the future hold for polyurethane fashion and design? Conservation studies regarding the 1960s and 1970s objects from the MUDE collection
 
Susana Sá did her degree in Conservation Sciences at the Department of Conservation and Restoration of Universidade NOVA de Lisboa.
Susana did her PhD under the supervision of prof. Ana Maria Ramos and her research was focused on the establishment of preservation strategies for one of the most unstable synthetic polymers found in modern and contemporary cultural heritage, polyurethane.
Outside the lab Susana enjoys being with friends and family, practicing sport activities and dance.
 
 
 
Sara Pais 
Identification of a type III secretion effector of Chlamydia trachomatis that associates with the Golgi complex of host cells 
Sara Pais did her degree in Biochemistry at Faculdade de Ciências at Universidade do Porto and her master in Molecular Genetics and Biomedicine  at Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia at Universidade Nova de Lisboa.
Sara is doing her PhD with Jaime Mota and her research is focused on the identification and characterization of novel virulence proteins of Chlamydia trachomatis.
Outside the lab Sara enjoys photography, cinema and running.
