The exhibition “Crystallography for Humankind” was inaugurated straight after the seminar by Prof. Dr. Huber, in the atrium of Building VII. Here, Ana Luísa Carvalho announced the winners of the photographic competition on “Crystals & Symmetry in Art, Science and Life”. The first prize went to Carlos Lopes de Oliveira, the second one to Carlos João e João Borges, and the third prize to Alan Phillips. Patrícia Marta won an honourable mention. Congratulations to the winners for their beautiful and original photographs.
