Started in the academic year 2013/2014. The minimum number of credits for the degree is 120. The Master is an Association between three institutions of the NOVA University: FCT, ITQB and FCM. Course only start with 10 or more confirmed entries as definite by the Executive Council of the FCT NOVA.
The Master course aims the development of a critical and analytical perspective of Biochemical issues related with Human Health.
This objective will be achieved through a sound knowledge base in biochemistry, with interfacial aspects of Biophysics, Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry (especially inside a pharmacological perspective) and Human and Social Sciences. Thus Course main goal is to provide a multidisciplinary education supplying access to areas of research and development in several sectors of industry and services related to Human Health (e.g., Pharmaceutical Industry, Clinical Analysis and Biotechnology).
