Research Interests

- Polymeric catalytic membrane reactors and heterogeneous catalysis (to be used in the production of valuable compounds as aromas and precursors for pharmaceutical industry, and in the production of biodiesel).
- Development of polymeric catalytic membranes.
- Polymeric modification by gamma irradiation for preparation of immobilizing supports for drugs, enzymes and other catalysts.
- Functionalization of polymers by plasma discharge.
