Research Interests

Biosensors and novel sensing elements fabricated from environmentally-friendly polysacchradide-based biopolymers, using green solvents. The surface modification and activation of magnetic nanoparticles using various natural products for the purposes of creating affinity matrices.

The design and rapid synthesis of various classes of novel compounds/materials using combinatorial chemistry techniques and employing multi-component reactions where neccessary.
