Pursuing a master's degree is an investment in the future. At NOVA FCT, academic excellence can also be recognised through the Merit Scholarships awarded by the Portuguese Directorate-General for Higher Education (DGES).
These scholarships are intended for undergraduate, integrated master's and master's students who demonstrate outstanding academic performance, rewarding merit regardless of their socio-economic background. To be eligible, students must successfully complete all course units corresponding to 60 ECTS credits in the academic year and achieve a final average grade of at least 16 out of 20. No application is required, as eligible students are automatically considered according to the criteria established each year.
