Differential Scanning Calorimetry – DSC

Equipment
Differential scanning calorimeter - Setaram, France, model DSC 131.
This equipment works in the temperature range between -150 °C and +550 °C, the heating and cooling speeds between 0,001 and 50 °C / min. The sign of heat flux ranges from -100 to +100 mW and the resolution is ± 0,2 μW.

Homogeneous solid or liquid samples with a minimum of 10 mg.

The applicant should directly contact the responsible for the equipment to clarify all the issues concerning the analysis. The equipment is operated only by the technician in charge. If requested it is permitted direct contact with the equipment along with a brief technical/theoretical description accompanied by practical demonstration of operation.

Delivery and reception of samples

  1. Samples must be properly identified indelibly and must be delivered properly packed.

  2. The delivery of results will be made exclusively by e-mail in PDF format, sent simultaneously to the applicant and responsible.

  3. The remainder of the samples will be stored in the laboratory over a period of 15 working days after completion of the analysis, after which will be eliminated.
