High performance Liquid chromatography/high performance ion chromatography

Equipment
Ion chromatography system Dionex ICS-3000 equipped with the following detectors: conductivity (CD), electrochemical (ED), Photodiode Array (PDA) and refractive index (RI).
Liquid chromatography system Thermo Scientific Finnigan Surveyor, equipped with UV/VIS and refractive index detectors.
Liquid chromatography system Waters 600, equipped with UV/VIS and fluorescence detectors (FD).

Sample

The sample ready for analysis (internal requests) must be previously filtered and have a minimum volume of 200 – 600 μl, although in some cases a greater volume may be necessary depending on the requested analysis.

 GC-FID (Gas Chromatography - Flame Ionization Detector) Konik, HRGC 4000B.

 GC-TCD (Gas Chromatography – Thermal Conductivity Detector) Thermo Trace GC Ultra.

Amostra

GC-FID: Liquid samples at ppm level or pre-concentrated with SPME.

GC-TCD: Gas samples in proper vessels for sampling with gas-tight syringe.

The samples for analysis must be accompanied by the application form and forwarded to the technician of each equipment and/or laboratory.

The applicant should directly contact the responsible for the equipment to clarify all the issues concerning the analysis. The equipment is operated only by the technician in charge. If requested it is permitted direct contact with the equipment along with a brief technical/theoretical description accompanied by practical demonstration of operation.

Delivery and reception of samples

  1. Samples must be properly identified indelibly and must be delivered properly packed.

  2. The delivery of results will be made exclusively by e-mail in PDF format, sent simultaneously to the applicant and responsible.

  3. The remainder of the samples will be stored in the laboratory over a period of 15 working days after completion of the analysis, after which will be eliminated.
