Interesses Científicos
- Isolation and characterization of metalloproteins containing iron-sulfur centers such as ferredoxins, using specific techniques: NMR, EPR, Mössbauer and also electrochemical studies. Molecular biology research related with protein overexpression and design of single mutants.
- Development of new poli-hydroxypyridinonate molecular systems with potential application in clinical and environmental uses. Synthesis, interaction with metal ions and biological studies.
