- Ciencias (quimica, bioquimica, sciencias das superficies/materiais) para a conservação e restauro do patrimonio cultural movel e imovel(estudo de materiais organicos e inorganicos das pinturas, esculturas, texteis, materiais fotograficos etc.);
- Applicação de novos materiais e formulações (verdes) para restauro e conservação de obras de arte;
- Criação e desenvolvimento de novas metodologias não invasivas de analise de objectos d'arte;
- Desenvolvimento de estrategias didacticas e de trainig para investigação, promoção e conservação do patrimonio cultural.
