The CrystalSense Solutions team composed by researchers from FCT-UNL will present their project “CrystalSense Solutions - Patterning your Senses” in COHiTEC 2014

30-06-2014

Cecília Roque, head of Biomolecular Engineering Lab, and her team composed by Ana Margarida Dias, Ana Sofia Pina and Ricardo Branco, participated in COHiTEC 2014 program. The program aims to support the valuation of the knowledge produced at Portuguese R&D institutions. Next July 1, the tech-based projects that participated in COHiTEC 2014 will be presented publicly in a Closing Session that will take place at Porto Business School, starting at 2 pm.

The project consists on the exploitation of a technology developed at the Biomolecular Engineering Lab to solve the problem of wound infection detection.

Cecília says that “COHiTEC changes our mindset towards research, and certainly gives new tools to scientists who aim to see their research from a different perspective. Interaction with management students and mentors, as well as other research teams, is very rewarding and it contributes greatly to the learning process. I have learned a lot, and I will certainly apply the tools of COHiTEC in the future”.
